Support
A heartfelt Thanks to all those who faithfully support Lotus Zen Temple and its spiritual outreach to the community. We need your help in making ends meet. If you have not made a financial contribution recently, please do so at your earliest convenience. You can use the PayPal option in the right-hand column of this Bulletin or send a check to Lotus Zen Temple, 1834 Ryons Street, Lincoln, NE 68502.
You are cordially invited to our new study program pertaining to major Zen Buddhist tenets, such as the four noble truths, the eight-fold path, the five skandhas, the precepts, the heart sutra, and more. A different topic will be covered each week, preceded by a short meditation and review. Classes should continue throughout the summer on most Fridays. If successfully attended, the student will receive a Certificate of Achievement. Classes are scheduled to commence in May 2011 on Friday late afternoon at Lotus Zen Temple. More details, including the curriculum, will be released by the end of this month. Please send serious inquiries and registration to Lotus Zen Temple. |
