Next Class
February 22, 6 to 7 PM: Karma
The concept of Karma is often confused and lost, but it is an important part of the Buddhist spiritual path.  The most common English translation of the word karma is “action”.  In Buddhism, karma is the basis of samsara.  In essence, karma is the foundation of the cause and effect relationship of everything in our world.

Namastè
The Winter 2012-13 newsletter is published. Soft copies are available on the web site in the membership area, hard copies here at the temple. Help yourself.

New Dharma Books
We have replaced the old Dharma Service Books with a newer, updated edition. If you like to take a copy of the old ones, help yourself. Make a donation, if you can.

Zen Studies It is very important to understand that Zen is not just meditation per se, but rather a process of uncovering unconscious habits, patterns and ways of seeing our life. This is extremely difficult if not impossible to accomplish without a teacher, as the teacher helps us to explore what we normally are not aware of. For opportunities, including the study of Koans, please visit www.lotusblossom.us/zentraining.htm
