Zen Studies
It
is very important to understand that Zen is not just meditation per se,
but rather a process of uncovering unconscious habits, patterns and
ways of seeing our life. This is extremely difficult if not impossible to accomplish
without a teacher, as the teacher helps us to explore what we normally
are not aware of. For opportunities, including the study of Koans,
please visit www.lotusblossom.us/zentraining.htm

Room for Rent
Home Needed
Roy is a cat our neighbor took to the Humane Society, because she did not want him around, and he did not seem to belong to anyone. He is a nice guy. He passed his feline-ality tests there with flying colors and was assigned the label "Green: Leader of the Band-Friendly to Everybody". He also passed his vet check with flying colors. I have been told he is a favorite there. He needs a home, however. If you know of someone, who might adopt Roy, PLEASE send them to the Human Society to check him out or encourage them to spread the word! Please contact Julie for more details.
Reiki
Reiki focuses on restoring
positive energy flow within the body, as well as supporting the body's
natural ability to heal itself by restoring balance to the energy in
each of the body systems. Reiki also relieves stress, pain, anxiety,
headaches, muscle and back injury, depression, fibromyalgia, etc. -- For over 40 years here in America, Reiki has earned a solid reputation as an effective complementary health practice.
